We collect minimal personal data to provide and secure our services:

• SIM Card Phone Numbers: Upon opening the App, we automatically retrieve the phone number(s) associated with the active SIM card(s) installed on your device.
• Technical & Diagnostic Data: We process basic network connection logs (such as IP addresses and connection status) necessary to maintain real-time WebSocket sessions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for the following operational purposes:

• Fraud Prevention & Security: Phone numbers are used to verify device identity, prevent unauthorized account sharing, detect automated scrapers, and stop illegal third-party redistribution of job alerts.
• Notification Delivery: Connection details are used to maintain real-time background connections via Android Foreground Services.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

Data is only transmitted to external services when strictly required for core app functionality:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC): Used solely as a fallback service to deliver push notifications when your direct WebSocket connection is inactive or interrupted.

5. Data Retention & Security

We implement standard security measures to safeguard your phone number and system logs against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data collected for fraud prevention is retained only as long as necessary to maintain platform security.

6. Children’s Privacy

AAM Companion is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on our official distribution channels with an updated revision date.
